The second thing to share involved me draining the engine and transferring over the factory oil filter adapter. This piece, from what I can gather, is Impala LT1 specific. It is the part where your oil filter screws on, but above the filter, you will find a set of lines which run to the radiator. This is all OEM stuff, which is Impala SS & certain police versions had a similar setup. Either way, it was removed with the allen head bolts and a new seal kit was used for the installation. I share with you the installation and seal kit, along with the factory service manual exploded view in the video.
